Software Support Technician

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

These include:

  • Managing internal IT Infrastructure and Network.
  • Assisting with migrating internal CRM system to Microsoft CRM platform.
  • Supporting customers using our software: logging and answering support calls and emails, ensuring efficient and timely resolution.
  • Passing calls where necessary to second level support and monitoring progress.
  • Maintaining management information.
  • Other routine admin tasks.
  • Using initiative to introduce improvements to systems and methods.

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Good attitude, team player and quick learner
  • Some knowledge of SQL (especially MS SQL Server)
  • Windows Active Directory Administration
  • Virtualisation Technology, ideally XenServer
  • Linux Server Administration experience is a plus

LIKELY CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • IT Related Degree
  • Excellent communication skills, both orally and with the written word.
  • Self-starter with proactive and enthusiastic approach to work.
  • Ability to learn new skills quickly.
  • Customer facing work experience an advantage.
