helpIT launches data cleansing service
helpIT systems have launched a new data cleansing service, designed for users of its widely-used matchIT suite of packaged data cleansing software. matchIT encompasses optional modules for deduplication, address verification, suppression and Mailsort – users can opt for the full suite or can elect to license just some of the modules and (if they wish) upgrade later. The new service is designed for users who don’t license the large number of industry standard suppression files that helpIT provide for use with the matchIT suite, including MPS, disConnect, Mortascreen, GAS, TBR and NCOA. This is typically due to licence costs and/or the overhead of storing a large number of very large files with the requirement for applying frequent updates.
The service also allows users to enhance their data with reference to third party Experian datasets holding key business data such as SIC code and employee count, as well as individual data e.g. date of birth and length of residence.
The matchIT suite now provides the best of both worlds for its users: they can still carry out all their regular data cleansing including dedupe and PAF address verification locally; then they specify any processing which requires third party datasets for the hosted service.
Graham Clark, Sales Director of helpIT, commented “Our new service will enable our users to leverage the same unrivalled matching routines for suppression as they already use for dedupe. Moreover, they will benefit from the tight integration with the matchIT suite which avoids the need for managing export and import of data if they were using another external service. It minimizes the chance of unexpected delays and avoids delegating of decisions to people that don’t understand their data or their business. We have been working in the suppression arena for over 10 years, so we have the expertise to deliver an efficient and cost effective service to our client base.”
